Classic Mini 1000 – 1970 so original

This mini was built 2/1/1970 and registered a month later, being sold by J Gibbs Ltd of Bedfont Middx, and  is showing 7 previous owners, the current owner has owned the car for over 14 years. A British Motor Heritage certificate is included within the extensive history file. We cannot substantiate the displayed mileage on the speedometer

The car has been dry stored for around 8 years, the car is coming to the end of a full mechanical recommissioning project, the car will be sold with a years MOT all be it is 56 years old so technically MOT exempt. The engine sounds well like any other well maintained A series engine.

The bodywork is very solid but is showing light non structural corrosion issues, please look at the pictures closely, I am more than happy to offer a live video call with prospective buyers to demonstrate the cars originality. This car could be enjoyed “as is” or with some time it could be soon taken to immaculate, so a great rolling project. under the carpets the floor pan is showing surface rust as is the underside.

The interior is totally original, seats and headlining is damage free but showing age related patina, an early 70’s radio is fitted too and comes with period picnic box.
