Classic Mini Brokerage Sales / Sale or Return / Commission Sale
We used to call this sale or return or a commission sale in the 80’s, but what this means is we sell your car on your behalf but with the added muscle of a long established Classic Mini Dealer endorsing your classic mini. This is obviously after we have appraised and inspected your car!
This service is traditionally for cars with a retail value in excess of £10K, or cars that have been slightly modified. It is often a great option where we feel the seller is asking a price that is too near the vehicles retail value, so cannot consider buying the car for our stock.
Our commission rates are realistic, these also depend on the preparation work that is required before we take the car to market.
We are also happy to consider any 1960’s> vehicle that is of British manufacturer, like Ford, Austin, Hillman, Triumph, Rover etc.
Benefits are:
- As a specialist dealer we will achieve a higher sales figure for you.
- We have the ability to get your non running car recommissioned and road ready
- The vehicle is sold by us on your behalf, in a professional environment and we can take a part exchange, if suitable to us
- We offer full marketing facilities, professional photo, videography, and typography.
- Totally accurate description of your car, so no complaints or come back.
- We know what the market value of your car is, but currently the market is currently volatile.
- We have the knowledge to suggest an achievable asking price.
- We collect the car from you at preferential trade rates by a fully insured transporter.
- Realistic commission rates
- Upon sale. monies will be paid promptly.
- Regular updates on interest.
- Ability to export worldwide.
Selling your car privately, the downsides.
- Marketing costs, these can be considerable.
- Do you know the best place to market your car?
- Can you offer a true description of the car with supporting imagery that attracts potential buyers?
- People arriving and intimidating you over your asking price.
- You are a private seller; specialist dealers can achieve higher values.
- If you do not sell in a few weeks, the car will devalue in price, (it’s the what’s wrong with-it syndrome)
- Can you offer an underside inspection on a ramp for the prospective buyers?
- Can you offer any form of after sales support?
- Do you have the ability / knowledge to export the car abroad?
