This car is being sold on behalf of one of our long term clients, who has lavished care and many thousands of pounds over the last ten years of ownership to present the car in its current condition.
The British Open Classic was a Limited Edition of 1,000 cars from 1992, the signature feature was a full size electric folding sun roof,also benefits from the preferred 1275cc engine with a carburettor. All original features are present on the car. We purposely left the car out in a heavy rain storm to test the roof for any leaks, none were visible.
The car bodily and structurally is superb, this Mini is a rust free example, underside is free from unsightly welding and is presented with the correct open fluted sills. Engine and gearbox perform without fault. The car drives well with no knocks or bangs. We will give the car a 12K service upon sale and of course get the car a fresh MOT. Mileage is currently a kiss over 72,000 miles and HPI clear.
