Classic Mini Mpi Sportspack, 1275cc,1998, 57K miles

This is a beautiful 1998 Mini Cooper Sportspack 1275cc, Mpi, showing a kiss over 57,100 miles which we are selling on behalf of client. This is a four owner car, last two being family members. This car has been off road since mid 2009. It arrived with us a few days ago, the keys were lost. We replaced the ignition barrel, reprogrammed a new alarm fob, changed the battery, drained the fuel and replaced the oil. Second turn of the key she fired up and idled very evenly. We have no service history with the car.  We have driven the car a short distance to confirm the gearbox is without fault and the engine sounds and performs well.

This is a rare colour (Nightfire Red) for a Sportspack Mini, the car sports full cream leather interior that is in near perfect condition and a full length Webasto style electric sunroof that operated smoothly without any juddering. The dashboards on these cars are prone to delamination, but this is not the case on this example. A posh aftermarket DAB radio is fitted that offers, hands free and Bluetooth connectivity

The bodywork is in really good condition, we can see no evidence of any panels being changed, rear subframe appears totally sound and the car has its original vented sills that are in good condition, the boot floor is “as new” The car does show some light corrosion in some areas, namely:-

1. Passenger door at the bottom
2. Slight spidering on drivers front wing
3. Drivers side A panel
4. Smidge of corrosion top of passenger wing adjacent to A panel
