A MAGAZINE FEATURED MINI CLUBMAN ESTATE 1981- £3750

Shell:
Fully restored shell, with pictures modified to accept front mounted radiator (metro). Body fully repainted and rust-proofed. Fitted with group 2 arches.

Subframes:
New rear, original front, both were sandblasted and powder-coated. Front is mounted on custom made solid lower mountings and Mini Spares alloy top mounts. Rear is mounted on standard rubbers.

Suspension Front:
Standard rubber cones, Mini Sports adjustarides, with GAZ 36 point adjustable dampers. Mini Spares 1.5 degree negative camber lower arms and adjustable lower tie rods. All joints, steering rack were new at time of rebuild, most of suspension is powder-coated and most fastenings are stainless steel.

Supension Rear:
Standard rubber cones, Mini Sports adjustarides, with GAZ 36 point adjustable dampers. Rear arms were reconditioned at time of rebuild and arms are powder-coated.

Brakes:
Front Mini Sport alloy 4 pot calipers, Mini Spares stainless steel hoses. Rear standard GT drums with stainless steel hoses. All controlled with late servo unit.

Wheels:
10x6 revolution alloys fitted with yokohoma tyres.

Engine:
1988 MG Metro 1275. Mini Sport 1.5 rockers, Stage 3 Mini Sport unleaded head, alloy inlet 1 ¾ inch SU carb with ITG induction. Standard electronic ignition.

Transmission:
Standard gearbox fitted with 3.1.1 final drive to allow easy motorway cruising, central oil pick up pipe. KAD quick shift fitted, new bearings and gearbox at time of rebuild. Drive shafts powder-coated with new CV joints.

Exhaust:
1 ¾ inch Maniflow stainless steel system throughout.

Interior:
Black carpets with blue trim throughout. Removable large parcel shelf finished in black carpet with stainless steel checkerplate finish. No rear seating. Cobra Monza bucket seats, LUKE safety harnesses. Battery box.
Brushed aluminium 3 + 3 dashboard with clocks.

General:
Featured in Mini Magazine June 2004 – we have a folder with copy of magazine, much history and MOTs, photos from restoration. Dyno – tested at 59BHP a very nippy runner. Reason for sale – Doesn’t fit a child seat!
